UI eCampus is the official online learning platform of the University of Ibadan, created to deliver accredited postgraduate programmes through a fully digital, AI-powered campus. The University
The University of Ibadan was established in 1948 as Nigeria’s first university. Originally founded as a college of the University of London, it became an independent institution in 1962 and has since shaped generations of scholars, researchers, professionals, and leaders across Africa and beyond.
Today the University serves more than 33,000 active students across sixteen faculties, and counts over 310,000 alumni in more than 160 countries. It remains one of Africa’s most respected institutions for research, teaching, and postgraduate education.

The University
UI eCampus is the University of Ibadan’s dedicated online learning environment. It is not a third-party website hosting UI content. It is a purpose-built digital campus where University of Ibadan faculty teach, assess, support, and certify students through accredited postgraduate programmes.
Through UI eCampus, students can access lectures, coursework, tutoring, assessments, academic resources, and student services from one structured online platform.
The platform is built and maintained by Astria Learning, a specialist in digital higher education infrastructure across Africa. The University of Ibadan retains full academic authority over programme design, admissions, faculty appointments, assessment standards, quality assurance, and the award of qualifications.
Everything happens through the UI eCampus platform. You apply online, enrol online, attend lectures online, submit coursework online, complete assessments online, and graduate with a University of Ibadan postgraduate qualification.
There is no requirement to attend the Ibadan campus at any point during your programme. You receive the same University of Ibadan academic credential awarded to students who complete equivalent programmes through the university.
This means you can pursue a respected UI qualification while continuing to work, live, and grow wherever you are.
